Hepaticus: Medical Image Data Collection Server





Instructions:

Before login, please, read the following instructions carefully and follow the steps given below after logging in to the server.

1. Liver Texture:

To annotate the image for liver texture, first select the type of texture in the image like "Normal" (by default selected) or "Fatty" or "Hetrogenous" or "Unable to Classify". After selection, please click on the top most corner of a 64x64 region of interset (ROI) in the image as shown in below figure. Your clicked point location will be recorded in the textarea below the image and saved afterwards. RoI box will be shown on click.

2. Liver Surface Regularity:

To annotate the image for liver surface irregularity, first select "Liver Surface is Irregular (by default selected)" if irregularity is present or "Liver Surface is Smooth" if there is no irregularity present in the image or "Unable to Classify" if you are not sure about the image class. After selection, please click on the representative points of the liver surface as shown in following figure. You click points locations will be recorded in the textarea below the image and saved afterwards.

3. Remarks

You can also add additional remarks in the Remarks textarea.

4. Saving Annotation Information

Please click "Save" to save the annotaion information for the current active image. Otherwise, click "Next-->" or "<--Previous" to proceed. Your annotation information will be saved in a text file that can be dowloaded for further processing.
